Privacy Policy

VibeWave · Last updated: 16 September 2026

This policy explains what VibeWave does with your information. We have tried to keep it short and specific, because a policy you cannot read is not much use to anyone.

The short version: VibeWave does not require an account, does not collect your name or email, and does not sell anything about you. Songs you process are sent to our server, used to create your remix, and deleted within two hours.

What we collect

Audio you choose to process. When you apply an effect, add a beat, analyse a song, or ask for subtitles, the audio file is uploaded to our processing server. It is used only to produce the result you asked for.

Photos you choose. Images you pick from your device for a video stay on your device. They are never uploaded.

Online photo searches. If you browse online photos inside the app, your search category or keyword is sent through our server to Pexels or Pixabay, and the photos you view are downloaded from them. No personal information is sent with these searches.

App usage statistics. We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used, for example which effects are popular, which screens are opened, and whether a purchase was completed. This data is linked to a random app instance ID and device information, not to your name or email. It helps us fix problems and decide what to improve.

Advertising identifier. If you use the free version, Google AdMob may access your device's advertising ID to show ads. Premium users see no ads.

Purchases. Subscriptions are handled entirely by Google Play. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made. We never see your card or payment details.

Crash data. Google Play collects standard crash reports so we can fix problems.

What we do NOT collect

How long we keep your audio

Uploaded audio and generated files are deleted from our server automatically, within two hours of processing. We do not keep copies. No person listens to your music, and it is never shared or sold. Any analysis (such as detecting tempo or quiet parts) is automatic and only used to create the result you requested.

The finished remix is saved on your device, in the Music/VibeWave folder. It stays there even if you uninstall the app, and you can delete it at any time with any file manager.

Third-party services

Backup

Your settings and your list of remixes may be backed up to your own Google account, using Android's standard backup feature. This is controlled by your device settings, not by us, and we have no access to it. You can turn it off in Settings → Google → Backup.

Children

VibeWave is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
